I dont mean in the old testament scrolls, the techings of the bible were not hte only thing found amongst the dead sea scrolls, and its not that the people at the time thought Jesus was nothing special they thought he was as you say trouble, and yet no writings, but truthfully this is all digression My point is simply this, as you can see there are alot of things that cannot be accounted for and discrepancies that raise alot of questions which you were as near as I can tell heretofore un aware of and/or cannot citably account for. I am merely suggesting that you kindly step down from your pulpit as it may not be wise to profess from a point of lacking knowledge, you yourself said you are not a biblical scholar, I submit to you that you might consider backing down from speaking as if you were at a point of authority and kindly allow people there views with out perpetual rebutt, however thats just my suggestion.

| Am I wrong or did you ask for a response? I never claimed to be an expert or to be an authority, but I will say that I feel I have some knowledge about these topics. I may not know exactly the same knowledge as you but that in no way means I was unaware of these issues. As to the pulpit, why is it considered preaching? I have not been telling you to do or believe anything. I am just speaking about the issues I felt were relevent to the topics of this thread. I feel that this is a case of the pot calling kettle black as you also seem to think you are an authority on these issues. |

whaler, I never said I was an authority on the issue, I was merely tellin goyu that there were other facts you were unaware of. . . is that an untrue statement?
second I have been professing one thing since the start of this each person has an opinion, and they are intitled to it, you have made yours perfectly clear as have I there is now way Im goingto continue this discussion add infinitum,
third I feel like your getting very defensive, why? youve said your peace, two things that will never be resolved are religion and politics, sooooo do you wanna argue politics next so we can go in circles for hours on end

Eh I'm Catholic. But I'm Communist too. Don't know how that works out.
BTW Vance, no wonder the priest gave you a weird look  Catholics believe that to be the body of Christ, and I don't know of many other religions that do that.
As for everything else, let's just say that I don't like Bush because he's dumb. And let's just say I think that we evolved from single cell organisms, but God triggered that evolution. |
