WaKeSkAtA66,
We haven't had any complaints from any of our customers.
The pros are that it you get the feel of a concave wood deck and it is under $200.00.
The down side is that it is wood and will eventually break down from the water.
If you like the feel of wood, you don't have many other choices right now. |

Way to burn your bridges Parky Last year you were LF boy and it was all about them. Now you're Mr Kampus so it's slag Lf time. It's probably a good idea to promote your company by it's plus's not trying to slag others.A good product doesn't have to find the fault's of others,it sell's itself.
I have a 05 Lf concave and think it's a great skate.Nice concave,a little wider than most concaves which is great for my big feet and the variable edge is bad ass. It's basically like you would shape your edges on a Integrity, round in the center, sharp on the ends.I have an old Mutiny that has the reshapable rails that I loved that edge shape but hated the composite board.I always thought you should be able to do that shape to wood and now someone has.
I also got some stress cracks in the paint from the first few days riding but it's just cosmetic,no big deal. And it's far from heavy, perfect weight if you ask me. _________________ http://www.bellacoolahelisports.com/index.html

yeah that guy would be me who had the crappy lf. When i rode it felt like really nice skate but after one ride the thing was cracked like crazy and ill i di was a wakejump some lipslides and a shuv. Keep in mind though i go this boar from the very first batch they produced for the public and they replaced it no problem, unlike some other comanys...(cough cassette cough) they will give you the skinny and fix anyproblems you have right away. Im still waiting to here about my bilevel. _________________ oh great now i have ink all over the screen |

i owned an Impulse 41 and really liked it! It's not like your normal concave wakeskate, so it's cool to see LF coming up with some new, original designs. The board popped like crazy and was really good for lip tricks, in my opinion. It wasn't the lightest skate around, but i liked the heavier feel, which is probably what made it so good on the lip. I feel like i have more control with a heavier skate. I also liked the asymetrical, skateboard-like shape. The single complaint i have is the white paint that surrounds the deck, becuase it started chipping all the way down the side of the skate after the second time in the water, and i hadn't even hit any rails. by now the bottom of the deck is mostly wood, there's hardly any white left. If you lay off on the rails then LF would probably warrantee it, or just contact LF now and see if they have a "new batch" that holds up better. Anyway, overall i liked this board a LOT and you'd be super happy with it. _________________

NaRC-P rider that's my point as well, it's a new shape,no longer a Cassette copy and it works well.Mines cracking all over to but to me it appears to only be the paint which is over the treated[epoxyed] wood.To me it seems it won't hurt the board at all it will only lose it's graphics. What do you think? How does your wood under the paint seem?Have you resealed? _________________ http://www.bellacoolahelisports.com/index.html
