alright alright i no thier are alotta forums abt kickflips and i have been lookin threw them for like 30mins and none of them see to clear on how to flick the board some say ollie and kick down, ollie and flick, ollie and flick off the edge and a couple others. im just wanting to no the best and correct way to kickflip. for a while now i have been tryin them i/o but some time ill get em to flip but they seem to fly away in front of me not like where the nose is pointed but in the direction of where my chest is facing if that makes sense lol also are they easier in the flats??

when u ollie let the nose come up really high, then as ur letting the nose come up u start to tilt ur front foot over a little bit so that ur front foot is almost laying on its side at the ollie's highest point. once u get the nose up and start to roll ur foot over rotate ur foot out, giving a kind of flicking motion. at the same time kick down a little because it is a wakeskate and it does take a lot more energy than a skateboard to flip. i basically just think in my head to ollie high and let the nose come up higher than normal and bring my front foot on to its edge on the way up (not flat on the board but not fully on its side) and once i feel that im high enough i flick and kick. flick out and kick down. thats about all. good luck.

CarterOG308, If the skate is turning backside, try looking at the nose of the skate as you pop.

CarterOG308, i know what u mean, the boards parralell to you but out in front of you, diagnol right? i was trying kicks today and the way i corrected it was wait long to flick it. i kept pushing them out in front too but now they are under me. only problem now is i cant land them. its sooo hard for me bc i just keep boucing off and stuff. its such a hard impact it seems.
