One other interesting video is "beg, borrow and steal." That was actually grubb's first video part for wakeskating...he and byerly are riding those giant yellow boards. Then there's some good stuff from drew and brannon meek as well. There's some wakeboarding in it as well, but it's one of the first wake vids that focused primarily on wakeskating (with wakeboarding still in the video). _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

hes riding the big yellow board in all or nothing. old video but he did stuff in that vid that i dont see in modern movies. he had a pretty decent part in welcome. hes in such is life on this stair-rail-winch thing from wakestock and another winch thing at the project. really sick rail stuff. for a wakeboarding/wakeskate vid, such is life has some of the best wakeskating out there. |

Yeah I just Counterfeit this and Grubbs goes big...he is mostly W2W though, not a lot of skate style tricks...
GD absolutly kills it in that movie though, I couldn't believe it...easily best section in the entire vid.

Yeah, he rides one of those banana boards in Free4All too, which is the first wake movie I ever saw, and the first time I ever saw someone wakeskate. Timmy K is pretty sick in that vid too.
Oh yeah, if you wanna see Grubby ride a little bit, go to Sidewayz.com and click on the 'video downloads' tab and scrol down to "Grubb ON Toe Jam"...it's basically a little interview about Grubbs and Toe Jam, but there's some shots of him riding too. |

I think one of his free4all boards were actually wood (the other ones were like crazy light foam...very interesting). I haven't seen that video in awhile so I can't remember all of it anymore, but one was definitely wood with that yellow foam grip on top. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

plus he's in Money Can't Buy, Issue 1, and Issue 2 (pretty much all the volume videos)
Beg, Borrow, and Steal is a real cool video - that was where i first heard of Grubb and he was shredding hard, plus i remember he did a crazy w2w one footer without a grab - he like jumped the wake and took off his BACK foot, its pretty rad. plus he hits some huge pointless gap, it's insane. _________________

I saw him riding at OWC.
Landing perfectly 10'000 times the same trick at the same spot.
He's a machine...
And he has an embedded software in his brain. _________________

In Free4All he is riding the yellow no concave hyperlite wakeboard but starts riding the wood deck that same season with a foam top...it was the season before both his and byerly's pro model wood decks came out. and I think that film is some of the best riding to date and Grubb kills in it. |
