So I love the new A. Reed and wrote about it in another topic but I took it out for the third time today and go wake 2 wake and case the wake and it cracks. Its like a 6 in crack that starts up on the side by the grip tape in the middle of the board and runs towards the bottom front. I am sad.

Slaytwebeling, my friend cracked his 06 impulse today. it was his third set with it.. he's going to warrenty it and then sell the new deadpulse, i mean impulse on ebay and put that money twoards a TNT Laughing It sounds like a lot of LF woods are breaking as fast or faster than bi-levels.

Oh well, what could you expect from a wooden deck, it is bound to break, bend or take water after a while... of course $30 worth of materials for a LF wont go a long way Afro
I am sorry bout your board still man, sucks to break one Sad

For pure wood decks I think the Oaks and Sattelyte will be the most durables out there

there is definitely a way to make wood work, i think companies are just being lazy about it though. they'll figure it out when wakeboarding dies completely and wakeskating takes over (cuz everyone knows that is going to happen...and i'm not joking.)

That's Liquid force for ya. I'm sure the shape is good but I wouldn't count on it lasting long.

I peeped it today and it is the widest concave deck to date and it looks sick. Too bad it's not a cassette. It looked dirty.

ya my 3rd impulse ( within 3 weeks ) snapped today so i decided to get a A REED and let me tell you....its heaven. It sits so much higher in the water and gets mad pop. I scoop my tre shuvs so high and clean. Defitinaly a board worth getting in my eyes. Hopefully it lasts a little longer than the impulse =/
