Hey all I got an email from someone wanting to know how the expo went for the WWSA. It went real well we picked up a lot of new members. The show special was 35.00 for membership and included in the membership benefits you got to pick between a capix (pointless) or Pro Tech wake helmet. So pretty much we was giving out free helmets for all of our new members. We had autograph sessions with Aaron and Danny from cassette & all of the kampus crew. Check out the pic of Danny and Aaron giving autographs at the booth.

I would suspect that wakeskating will still be on the pro tour, but just because it's on tour doesn't mean it will be sanctioned by the wwsa (you know, like the world waterski federation or whatever it's called is allowed to have a wakeboard worlds, among other things). Anyway, the main purpose of a sanctioning (sp) body like this is to sanction events (providing insurance and things like that), as well as promoting the grassroots side of things. So, the wwsa would be for everyone because they're supposed to support all levels of the support (but as I said, they really push to grow the grassroots aspect).

We will still do the pro wakeboard tour next year. But we are planning on a 3 stop series of wakeskate only pro and open divisions.

no i don't have any extras but when you join there is a package for 55, that includes the cappix. regular price is 40 for the membership but wakeskating.com members get 5 off so the total would be 50 that would include the cappix and a snap video and then the other membership benefits.

as far as just florida No we are going all over tryn to set up a big grass roots thing. We just want wakeskating to grow. We did help Int get wakeskating set up next year. They will have 3 divisions and 2 of the divisions will be at the national int event I would love for everyone to try it out and give them some slack for the first year. And if you know whats up find the local cordinator and tell them that you could help judge (because i think they might need some help) they would hook you up with a free entry. late

WWSA, free entry? i judged wakeboarding forever when i used to ride int and the most i would get is a free drink if i was lucky. i guess i joined at the wrong time. but ill help you with anything down here in florida that i can. and if i ever go back to ohio and somethings going on i might be able to help on that. how do i get more info on this stuff?
