i'm a network engineer at a phone company. We wholesale phone lines and internet access to local phone companies in california. I run and engineer our Internet network and also do a lot of work on the phone network side as well. I like this job because it always has something new for me to figure out; I go crazy with a day to day job that has repeditive tasks.

Yes, i used to be a geek, but now with wakeskating i've i've been able to push my geekness level down to about 10% geek. Laughing

Oh man, so that's why you're a former "computer nerd" or something? On that aaron reed deck thread on norcal wake, scott a said the funniest thing to you in response to you liking the graphic on that board, and i really wanted to ask about that.

And I'm not judging, I just thought the whole exchange was a total gas. And it's crazy, my brother has been a sci-fi geek forever (he even likes that new campy verison of "dr. who")...and he's cool and very funny, but it's like the "geek" never leaves.

Anyway, I sell plasma for cookies.

Im 16 and just got my first real job at Crest Industries. Its automotive supply company working 7 hours a day 3 days a week. I start next week. The best part is its one of my best friends parents who own the company. O ya.....paycheck once a week....this means my integ will come soon

Still sit 9 to 14 hours a day in front of a computer. Used to work in NYC at a web-marketing firm. got burnt out. Still working in Internet....tech firms suck!!!

Best job ever had.....(a) snowboard instructor at Blackcomb after high school (b) building decks and docks in Northern Ontario in the Summer during University. Drank beer everyday.

taking mechanical engineering in university...

this summer i'm working at a packaging company in their maintenance department, learning the ropes on mechanical stuff. we make cigarette packages mainly. marlboros, newports, and crazy japanese and korean ones too. and lots of other stuff
