Heres a new skim vid that i just made from a few weeks ago. I only get to skim 1-2 times a year... Most of its just flatland beach stuff except at the end when it get a little scary  anyway.. enjoy

Nice, what beach was that on? I'm usually down near atlantic or wrightsville. I just started skimboarding recently. Can't seem to get the board to pop like you do. I've been working on shuvs but they don't really leave the water. Any tips?

That was Oak Island. to get it to pop out you have to get in a little deeper water and try to throw the trick not long after you get on the board. Try to get a good scoop with your back foot, and doing it off of a small incoming wave also can give you pop, but it is harder to control. Just be carefull when you try three shuvs because they are so easy to hurt yourself on, especially if one foot lands underneath the board  |

Thanks. A buddy of mine has a house on Oak Island. Haven't been there this year but was down twice last year. I know what you mean about hurting yourself. I was trying one the other day and came down with one foot on one off. Not the most comfortable landing. Anyway, appreciate the tips.

yeah thats Jaime Lovett he does pro surfing air shows..... hes pretty ridiculous. There are a few of us down there that do some huge out the back kind of stuff. I want to try and bring alot of it to wakeskating like Drew D already has. I want to see a fingerflip w2w, I can do shuv indy fingerflips on my skim and I know that someone that is use to riding a boat could probably pull one with enough practice.
