Looking at buying one, what do yall think? I read in another thread that it has a foam/cloth grip. How does it feel and if i get it should I just rip it off and grip it? _________________ You know what you are when you look at your self in the mirror |

I can't see why not?
I am not a pro-rider like all these bro's, but I like to ride barefoot from time to time.
Plus not every person who comes out has shoes to ride grip.
The girl with a size 6 woman's will not fit into my 12 byerly's........ But then again do any of these skaters ever have women with them? (JK)
While most my skates are grip, I like to have one foam on board. I like the Impala, and will most likely buy one soon.
I also ride a Kampus and a Integrity and few others. _________________ Dick Dale for President! www.dickdale.com

I ride a gb doyle and its awesome.and its the same as the impalla except for .5 inches and the foam. the board is especialy good on skate tricks and lip tricks, it isnt exactley the best wake to wake board but all it takes is a little practice to get used to it. If you get it i would suggest gripping it because the foam isnt that good. I would suggest either one _________________ "Dude, dolphins are intelligent and friendly!" -- Wendy

We have a Impalla at the shop.
It is sick.
We demo roda one a while back, and it does ride a little slick.
Not bad though.
The cloth/foam on top is stickier than grip.
Your shoes will sink into it.
Its really personnal preference, but if you want a sticky ride, Id keep the Foam/cloth stuff on it. _________________ Danny T.
