i was reading Vincewhitemans post about how much you no about canada

and i was wondering , how much do you guys no about the florida keys?
and for any one who hasnt herd of the florida keys its a strip of islands below florida that leads to key west

As a Canadian, I don't know much about that specific area in the states.

All I know is it's in southern florida (i think)
Good fishing
Sharks! AH!
Hot, salt water obviously
Lotso swamps and bogs and shizzle, as well as islands.

I really can;t think of anything more specific, it's just a part of florida not an entire country like Canada. Hard to have that many distinct qualities...

i also found out some thing new about the islands down here,
ive never been able to surf ( becuase of the Coral Reef)
and the waves brake 7 - 15 miles out where the coral reef ends
but, theres an island that far out, sourrounded by sand instead of coral

so its actually possible to surf down here.

this might sound stupid to any one else, but was really big news when i found out
