|
well today me and my friends planned on building a rail to gap one of the islands in our area. The tide ended up being to low for it to work out correctly so we put in along the shoreline in about a half foot of water and sessioned it all day. Landed some shuv outs and some other good stuff. This wednesday we plan on putting the incline over the island with a gap going to an upside down 14 foot aluminum jon boat on some cinder blocks to gap the entire island. Heres some pics for now but ill have some more pics from this wednesday soon if everything works out. Also the rail took us about 20 minutes to build and was all free scrap wood from a porch my friends grandpa was building. |

Looks like you boyz had a fun session. Are the posts goin straight in the ground or are those rocks helping support a frame under water? Or a little of both _________________

a little of both. The original plan was to have them goin across dry sand on the island but the way the tides were workin out we had to put it there and the mud didnt give much support. |

yeah we were short for time so instead of usin the fiberon on the nice smoothe side we flipped it over and screwed it into the ridged side so we didnt need to countersink the screws. |

its not that bad, especially if you look at it as skateboarders are over cement the whole time when there doin shizzle. Were lucky enough to atleast have a little bit of water and mud to brace are falls. |

if u got like a foot of water and just sand or mud bottom it doesnt hurt to fall...
but if u messed up and went in head first im sure u could really hurt urself _________________ "it is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation." |
