Gators...

I know gators arnt that big a deal to you poeple in florida and la but they certainly creep me the FAK out!
For some reason the last few weeks i feel like they are poppin up more and more in texas.And i am talking from 5 at the smallest to 10 ft gators... I have been going up to dallas the last few weekends and every time i go up there i hear about more and more gators poppin up in the same lakes we have been riding at and even in the same small coves.
Then last time i went home my 2 best friends tell me they spotted two gators in our creek and i spotted one driving over the bridge just swimming down the middle of the lake. I know they were always gators in the far back of the creek where no one goes, but never where we rode, it really scares me cause i had a dream and it was sooo clear, i know the exact spot in the creek and saw my boat and my buddys boat and even recongnised the person swimming next to me and then bam i get dragged under by a gator... and then the spot where my dream was had the most boat traffic and least likely spot for a gator, but that is where they are hanging out.. never riding there again!!!!.... I know they dont hurt poeple and dont bother you if left alone... but still they freak me out and just the fact that i know there in the water and i could be there lunch at any time really makes me not want to get in the water.... lucky in austin the gators havnt taken over any of the lakes.... yet.... eeeekkk

but seriously, its so unlikely that something will attack you while you are riding/getting picked up, cept for mocasins, those are nasty little f**kers.

dude, i read in an in-fisherman about some flood resevoir in texas, where they catch 300 poung alligator gar! i would love to catch even a small one. we have them here but not that big.

i <3 anywhere that isnt the river that lemons rides in. you dont even want to swim to get your skate if it goes near shore, you make the boat do it, its so sketch.

yea the creek is pretty nasty... besides dead bodies, disease, the thought of gators, any mutated creature, and gars... snakes are probly are biggest worry. During summer we see atleast 1 snake every other time we ride. Talk about killing a good set. Never had any cloths calls... they usually try and get out your way or duck under water and swim away, cept for one time when sammy was lookin eye to eye with that thing before it swam under water and luckily i pulled him out of the water and a back to the dock where we decided to end our set...

Yah man thats a sketchy lookin fish...or dinosaur!! man i am glad i live in canada and all i ahve to worry abotu are the frigging gnarly feeling frog eggs that float around under the water....haha well the only thing i can say is that u guys get to skate all year round or close to it and me and ridehatzic only get about 4 months a year if we are lucky...
