well i was out riding today when my life was almost ended. i fell on the tip of a freshly cut mangrove branch that was about two-three inchest think. it hit me in my lower left part of my stomach with enough force to cause major instant swelling and left me unable to basically move. luckily for me the branch was cut flat and it had more of a blunt tip to it, had it been sharp it would have pierced right through my lower stomach and i would have probably died on the scene. my friend was able to give me a ride back to my house on my jetski and then i went to the ER. i got an IV, blood samples, urine samples, and all sorts of other evil things. i took a catscan and it showed that had the injury been one inch higher my spleen would have completely ruptured and there is a good chance my left kidney would have too. i was able to leave the hospital with just severe internal bruising and being extremely lightheaded. if any thing didnt really make sense im sorry but im not exactly in the right state of mind right now. im just thanking god that im still here right now.

Glad to hear you're ok, that would have been a bad way to go. Death by Mangrove. Was the branch underwater? How did you fall on it?

last year me, jscott, geo, and several others were riding in our own spot which has narrow cananls leading into it. To make a long story short 4 jetskis in a small riding spot is a bad idea. two of us crashed head on going close to 40 and 50 mph and i got tossed into the other jetski. ALWAYS WEAR A VEST, even though i wasnt like a fvcking idiot i had internal bleeding from my kidney, internal brusing and cuts all over. turned out fine after some days in the hospital. A PRIME EXAMPLE TO WEAR A VEST. it hurts and it sucks too. dont ever quit wakeskating though.

just shows you how easy it is and how quick it can end like that.

be careful out there man, i see some haggard shizzle every day where i work. a 3yo came in the other day with half his face kicked in from a donkey, needless to say it those few seconds just changed his entire life.

enjoy responsibly top hat and good luck on a speedy recovery.

Campesinado.

That's the same way that Ben Handley almost lost his hand. Lee.

Except he got thrown into a piling with barnacles and oysters. Same concept though.

my dog got kicked by a horse a couple of yrs ago. he shouldve died but not he cant use his front right leg. so he limps. his ligaments or something are torn and they wont grow back. so theres like no muscle in that arm anymore, just hangs, lol
