if you were comparing a kickflip on a wakeskate vs. skateboard, would you say you kick a little harder for one or the other or just about the same for both? when I skateboard I feel I have to kick pretty hard to get it to flip around all the way. This year I am going to start working on them on my wakeskate and I was just wondering how your guys experience is??

if u want to get consistant u must flick and not mob. and yes it takes much more effort to flip a wakeskate. go practice on a tramp. but make sure u try to somewhat ollie it instead of bounce. get them really consistant on the tramp, like do it with ur eyes closed consistant. then take it to the water. oh and make sure when ur learning them on the tramp, make sure u do it with a foot postion u can actually use on the water and still be able to ollie.

holmespika, if you find it hard to "kick" your skateboard all the way around you might have a problem.

well i'm not very good at skateboarding, so that might be part of it. I guess when I start trying them I will know how it is.

Aright I need a lot of help with this. Some days I get really close and some days I just pop and do a weird Mctwist and the board doesn't do anything. Is it really easier to learn them inside out then moving to the flats or did some of you kickflippers learn yours in the flats?

i.o gets you the ari time to get used to kicking the baord and gives time to understand what needs to be done in the correct order to get the deck around... its jsut a time factor that makes it easier...

i/o makes its easier to get in the air and flip it but harder to land because u are edging out and ur body is higher than it would be if u ollied in flats so u can't put it down when u want to like u can in the flats.

i never tried kickflips i/o ever...been in the flats since day one! not a big fan of i/o tricks, except big shifty ollies or something...remember to have some aggressive snap on the flip and get those legs up outta the way! and keep some weight on your toe edge so u dont slip out like i always used to!

i actually like re-entry kickflips alot you get pop and stay straight in the air and plus it kinda feels like a QP, just roll up stomp a trick roll down, mmmmhmmmmmm Cool
