Dude, Sector 9 makes great decks and wheels. If you get a complete, you might after a while wanna look into some other trucks, because the trucks are not very good. Randall trucks are THE best for high-speed/Slalom, and cruising. The board size is preference, but a shorter board is gonna be more responsive and want to carve hard and a longer board is more of a cruiser. Hope this helps

hell na dude, get a landyatchs, they flex and the ride is sooo smooth...as for trucks, go w/ randal 180's, i have 70's flashback wheels but they are nothin special..i personally do not like sector 9's cuz they are so stiff, the flex really gives u a smooth ride i would def check them out

also, u into bombing hills or carvin and shizzle?...if u wanna go fast, get a downhill so u will not get wobbles, but they are not as fun, and u cannot carve too much. downhills are the boards that look like this -----__________----- that is a side view

get the sector 9 randall 2 180mm trucks those are awesome. The sector 9 carbon trylam deck is a really nice shape and feel and is a 38"($69 for deck $169 for complete). The sector 9 cosmic series with a kick tail are fun decks and are any where from a 34" to 38"($149 for complete and $59 for decks) and if you buy the deck seperate I would advise going with the randall 2 trucks for any setup($49 each). Also the 72mm/75a nineball wheels are nice ($36). those are carving decks though so if you want a bombing deck go for a longer one.

I hate sector nines.. if you want to be one of the cool kids that just pushes around from class and back then you'll fit right in... If you want performance sect 9 isnt where you should look. You can't carve or dig in worth crap on them. if you want a true surf feel go for like a jimmy slinger or landyatchs.

Edit: Appears my advice was 3 minutes late.

just a more surf style of skateboarding. we usually ride pools in them or just like pump them and powerslide around. if you live outside of florida you can actually bomb down hills, but they are just a much nicer ride and fun to cruise around on.
