Computer problems

My computer crashed and we recently got it fixed but we're still experiencing some problems. One of which is when I want to watch a vid, like the new one posted of TNT, there's a pop-up that says "Click to run ActiveX control" and then I click okay. After that the screen comes up where it says an error has occured, send message, do not send message. I click do not send message and then all my internet screens close, does anyone know why this is happening?

ridehatzic, well first all, your web browser is crashing when trying to play the vid.

Go to http://www.getfirefox.com download and install firefox (better web browser anyway) and try to watch the video... Tell us what happens next then and I will help to trouble shoot it with you.

Ya I use firefox to
try and get PCbugdoctor also
it will fix all ur errors in windows it works amazing.

revolutionconcepts, I saw an image of a screenshot from a Microsoft developers computer on the Microsoft website showing a new feature in Windows or something... it was funny b/c he was using Firefox instead of IE as his browser and they didn't catch that when they threw it up on the web.

I just downloaded firefox it seem to be pretty fast

i use firefox but it sometimes freezes up so i use advancedbrowser it is the most like internet explorer so it is most compatible

wow i just downloaded firefox and its way faster than IE, thanks guys. anything i should know about like gay crap its gonna do? do i need to tweak anything on firefox?

only thing i tweak on firefox is how long my history stays on here

bjr, ya that was the first thing i did. does this stuff save in IE or is it toally different. like as in sometimes google will save your searches. will they show up on firefox from IE? vise versa?

revolutionconcepts, yup... but my personal favorite is when he is showing off Windows 98 before they released it, and he get's the Blue Screen of Death in front of the entire press conference.

dietwater5, no tweaks are really necessary.... certain sites I have it allow pop-ups just b/c that's the only way I can read my mail from school is in a pop up and stuff like that. If a website follows the W3 standards, it should be viewable perfectly in firefox. So if it doesn't view right, it's b/c the site was made to be seen in Internet Explorer and doesn't follow the set standards that they should. (In that case I'll just start up IE).
