Last Wed. had a little problem with a angry old fisherman. This old man has to always fish on what ever side of the lake we are riding on. So we moved to the side over by his house which is all houses and docks and sea walls I say we kept the ski like 90' from shore. He gets pissed and motors his john boat over to were my friends are chilling at their apt. and says he is calling the harbor police. This lake is maybe 20 to 30 acres tops never have seen the habor police out there let alone a fing harbor. He took a picture of my truck and tag and went on his way back fishing. He said we were to close to the shore that we had to 100' away from the docks know if that is true or not I am not sure. We figured we would honor the guys wishes and ride back over on the other side where we were, which Angry Fisherman also was fishing. So after I guess being rocked so much by us riding he went home. We finshed are session and left the ski in the water locked to a friends dock.
Friday leave work early going to the lake to ride and maybe do some work building something to ride and my SL carbon handle was gone somebody cut it off not the main line but the handle line. Which would leaves me to believe that person is not going to use it looks like a good sharp fishing knife cut it. Lessoned learned not leave things out, the Angry Fisherman he as a dead fish coming his way like in the cab of his truck.
So any suggestions on handles to check out I liked how thick the Sl Bantam was.

we have an unwritten rule in our parts, its called dont chickity china the chinese chicken with us or we will make your life miserable. i think that fisherman deserves whatever you give him if he truly cut your rope.

The rule or Florida law is 100' off the docks but that is hard to judge and if your 90' its the same as 100'.

The fisherman needs to get his gas line cut so that when hes out in the middle of the lake on a windy day he's fvcked. The smelly fish in the cab of the truck is a good substitue if you dont want to vandalize his property. Or maybe a black snake in his jonboat so he thinks its a cottonmouth and flips out on the lake a jumps in the water and swims back to shore.

my friends dad had the same problem, sorta, chris was driving, i was watching, and his dad was riding, we went by a fishing boat and the fisherman threw his lour or however you spell it at him as we went by..... Shocked

whenever we are out, we try to avoid the fisherman just out of courtesy, but have never had any real problems. I'm sure we have pissed them off though and we hardly ever obey the 100' from shore rule, but i'm not sure maybe it's different on a river.

kirby and i used to ride in tampa bay, in this lil awsome cove, well fisherman used to fish in there and it was all flats except the one un marked channel, and one day these fisherman parked their boat in the 10ft wide channel and began fishing as we were riding and tried to get us with there hooks, i was so pissed that shizzle sucks especially if we were there first u know? but it turns out these guys were big sponsored f@cks that thought they were the shizzle. the did catch any fish and shortly left.

i would let u have my Lf handle if some1 who's name rhymes with snick baylor would give it back Twisted Evil

nottoldyet, that sucks i remember last summer me and my friends were on jet skis and this fisherman was getting oissed and shaking his fists at us for being like half a lake away so we took the jet skis and jut floored it and did a circle around his boat took off it was so funny

rode the delta this one time and it was early and fishman were out. there was this one 5 mph zone that was like 100ft long with one house and no boats. so we decided to ignore it. so this fisherman came by us on his car and cast his line and caught it on my friend. it was gnar. luckly it caught her board shorts but wow.
so we just cussed him out

Ive noticed that its usually the fishermen acting like A-holes. Just last weekend had one try to mess up me and my bro's good time (Landed my first Benihana), we almost hit head on with that guy, If I wouldn't have moved he would have nailed us,goes by smiling sardonically, meanwhile it's my buddy Josh's first time skating behind the boat and he has this look like he's gonna die. The verbal confrontation ensues and almost gets physical, then I bust out the handy dandy cell phone and let him know one more time he is tresspassing and I'm callin the cops (private lake, he's poaching).

I'm going to do somthing to the old man something stelthy. I love fvcking with people when they don't even know they are being f_ed with. It sucks he took a picture of my truck tag though. Some other guys with a red and white ski also ride there too, they even have footage on here of riding docks, and slides on docks and so on. So I'm putting a big HONDA sticker on my Yamaha, growing dreds and I'm going to raise hell. Twisted Evil
