street bikes?

anyone on here know about street bikes? my friend just randomly gave me a 2003 kawasaki ninja 250R, he locked up the engine then got pissed and ripped the center side plastic off of it. but its in GREAT condition and only 2,000 miles on it. i just need to know if its worth rebuilding the engine or just saling the whole thing as it is. (need money to go to toe jam)

how did he lock the piston up?? you will probably need a piston, with a new ring, and a piston sleeve. dont know how much that will cost...but a dealer could tell you.

yea, i have no clue about these things, thats why i asked. i'm probly gunna sale it and make some money off of it to get to orlando

i had an old cbr 600 that i rebuilt... you probably can fix it and make a little cash.. did he give you the title? you might see if a bigger engine will fit in that frame..... is it bone stock? http://www.williescycle.com/home.htm this place is actually 20 minutes from my home town... i bought a lot of parts for my bike there.. i had to replace the head etc... got some farings, gas tank etc...

or you can part it out and sell it that way

you cant ride it if the piston is frozen
