All Things Winch...

So we've had this idea for a while, since September actually, for an all Winch web site. Unfortunately between work, raising a family, school, riding and other projects, we haven't been able to devote much time to it. It seems now however that the Winch movement has finally reached critical mass. Rather than hold off any longer, we thought we would announce this now and let the site evolve over time with the Winching community involved. We had hoped to launch the site chock full of content but that will still take some time, so please be patient, but it is coming. For now we have put up the forums to have a single place Winch enthusiasts can share their knowledge, experiences, designs and ideas in an open sharing environment. Our future plans for the site include everything from the history of Winching down to the details of Winch physics & engineering. We are even considering including a reference Winch design to open source our beloved Winching activity to all. So we invite you to join us, have some fun and share your good times, both building and riding behind your Winch!!!

Yeah, the site will be evolving quickly over the next couple weeks. We just wanted to let everyone know it was happening since there seemed to be so much interest in such a site recently.

we started our winch tuesday the 14th and it should be done by this tuesday, one week to build a winch , not bad , check the "winch in progress" topic and look at mtwakeboarders posts , our project is flying along, its about time for a winch site, awesome

Apologies to all who have registered for the WinchSkating forums but did not get your accounts activated in a timely manner. Your accounts are being activated right now.
