So all this talk of truck/winch skating is getting me excited.

How fast do you step on it when you pull someone across the pond?

What should be avoided while attemping this for this first time?

If you are all nice I might provide some video of this project. Something for you all to laugh at I am sure. Very Happy

jacque_mehoff, they thought we were insane, then on the last day some little beach come down and says, "Oh I forgot to tell you I let little brandy(her dog) poop in the ditch." Shocked

so this year i wanna put up some signs that say "no dog crap in this ditch beach!"

jacque_mehoff, actually, I think he was being serious... instead of making your car shift from 1st to second gear while you're getting up to speed, just start it off in second.

That makes sense. Hard to tell with Pirate if he is being serious or not. Very Happy

I ride behind the boat at 20 so I thought that might be a bit fast behind a car or truck.

I was being seriouse, 2nd is alot more consistant even if your in a automatic.

You dont wan the truck shifting gears on you.
