alright, hyperlite sucks, yeah, anyway, who's noticed how insanely sticky/textured the grip tape is. compare it to anything you have on any of your decks...I use primarily Jessup and that feels like smooth butter compared to Byerlys stuff.........this grip tape is the tape of the future

i dont like really sticky grip, on my skateboards and wakeskates i always rub an old piece of grip over it to kinda break it in.

integrity640, yeah this year byerly switched to grip on his board I guess, GD was using the 06 at wakestock when he was ridin for HL still and yeah that grip is insane. I like the new catalyst foam, the green looks cool for the foam.

ya they introduced it on the phriction in 05

tahoe integ, was he the guy that wore the yellow jersey on the winch? and then couldnt do the set up and got mad and kept taking other peoples spots? even if it wasnt that guy, he was a flick man, total a$$ hole, like I think I saw you go like 5 times in total and that other guy went like 20 times and totally sucked. but painting the grip is a good idea

tahoe integ crammscracka used paint to "fix" his grip? was the grip too grippy? why did they make it SO textured, to last as long as the deck?

he said the paint helped his shoes or something. it was kinda awhile ago but i think thats wut he said. and it felt good on my shoes haha. i just stood on it

"helped his shoes"???? Painted grip just makes it slippy... I usually do like Mr. Top Hat, and rub some old grip over the new one to break it in. Better than paint but if you want some serious style do like Corey Webster in "Thrashin'" and paint it like spiderweb... doesn't get any better than that!
