Does anyone else find it weird that the board looks exactly like the Catalyst (designed by GD) but wood? And as GregT mentioned Shank fins? It almost even seems like switching to GB was useless...

Slapdown, the catalyst is Grubb's board and GD rode a byerly. I don't think he designed any boards for hyperlite, though he probably had some input.

This board has so much pop, it takes a little geting used to but overall it pretty nice except it delamed and one of my screws came out after using it for 3 days, but performance just gave me a new one. It has so much pop off the lip. You barely have to flick it for K-Flips and 3-Shuvs are so easy. Its a nice board and has a nice feel to it. And I haven't had any problems with my new one.

Greg T, Whoops! Haha, my bad, the catalyst and the byerly had always looked exactly the same to me anyways, but thanks for correcting me Embarassed

the cut outs on this picture seems smaller..the one on the byerly extends to the middle of the deck.
