X-games "Pool Party" article...

Here's an article from expn.com on the pool event that went down at the x-games. It focuses more on wakeboarding, but there's an aaron reed blurb, and an nice shot of him as well.

im sure that wakeskating might grow a bit larger with it being a little side activited in X

bjr, for sure, and seriously i think at the xbeing that wakeskating has the same tech edge as skateboarding could grow big time! we all just need to build huge set ups lol but seriously things like the blacktop brodeo and such are were its at and wakeskating thrives in that area imo

last i heard there wasn't gonna be any TV coverage. not sure exactly what ended up happening, though.

Yeah, that part doesn't really surprise me. I was thinking that, if anything, it might be on one of xtreme news broadcasts they're having every evening. I would have liked the footage if it existed, but I'm out of town and there was no way to watch for it or anything like that.

I actually like the idea of this. Instead of making it competitive, which represents a very small portion of what wakeskating is (to me at least), it shows wakeskaters coming together to have a good time and jam on the rails.

i went the expn.coim and went to tv schedule for x games and the was no coverage
