Black Metal

I realise I am probably the only wakesk8er in the world that likes these kind of tunes but wondering if anyone around these parts likes or has an appreciation for this kind of music. Bands like Bathory, Burzum, Darkthrone, Hellhammer, Mayhem, Venom, Etc. K'Jellman? I know you come from the region that spawned this killer music. Twisted Evil

Those bands are killer too. Motorhead and Slayer are obvious though, dont get me wrong I love them but Im talkin about some stuff you cant get at the Mall.

Jesse,
This band played with Motorhead, they were called Zeek or Ziek. Very fast and very loud.

I think they were from Alabama or somewhere in the south.

I never heard them, and when we saw them, they kicked arse.

What album do you have?

Check out Skindred. They are damn good.

I have "Death Alley" and "Dirty Sanchez" those are the 2 I have although which ever record you find will probably be worth buying. They have like 6 records or something like that.

Probably too hardcore-ish death metaltacular to be called black metal, but I dig The Black Dahlia Murder.

el, Black Dahlia is pretty rad but definately more of a Hardcore influence. Although from what I've read about the original Nordic Black Metal scene (85 - 92), those guys were definately listening to some of the Punk/Hardcore that came before them. Samhain especially. Listen to Darkthrone's "A Blaze In The Northern Sky" and you will hear what I am talking about.
