| ok here's the deal. Before i graduate from college this semester I have to do a senior project and it has to be some sort of cutting edge technology. Me and 2 other buddies decided to do an extreme sports dual disc. It's only going to have 2 main sections (wakeskating/wakeboarding and skateboarding). Typical dvd setup- intro page, chapter select, 2 sections, and a outro/credits. The thing that is going to set this dvd apart from the rest is that we are arranging our own songs for the soundtrack. It's just going to be drums, bass, and guitar, BUT we are recording and encoding the music in 5.1 surround so that it feels like you are in the center of the drums/music. A stereo option will also be available on the main menu. As far as i know, every other extreme sports dvd has only stereo mixes of previously recorded material. One last thing we are planning on doing is offering the soundtrack (in stereo) on the opposite side of the disc, hence the Dual Disc. So what do you guys think? Any suggestions? |
