Anyone watch it? Its on the discovery channel and or you can rent it. Its 3 hours long but very interesting. Fo those of you who dont know what im talkin about, its about the guy who lived with the grizzly bear for over 10 yeas but got killed along with his gf in 03. Id really suggest getting it.

For those of you who saw it what did you think of him? I think he was truly dedicated, probably the most dedicated prson iver ever seen in my life. I dont think he was crazy, he just adapted to his surroundings.

I haven't seen it yet, but one of my friensd was telling me about it about a month ago, then i saw some of the special on Discovery tonight. I really want to see it. He sounds crazy, but just from what I saw I feel bad for the guy. He was doing what he loved at the cost of being a very lonely person.

I know the audio exists of him and his girlfriend being killed, is that in the documentary or not?

It's not in the documentary. I heard it was at the premeir; but so awful they nabbed it. He seemed like a nice guy....lost but found and his home was in alaska with the bears. He reminded me of myself a little, I liked the foxes he bonded with. He really lived...........so he died, most of us don't get a chance to live and breathe the free air as he did. What a great story.

i saw it in both the movie theater's and on the discovery channel.....very different.......i thought he was a little out of his mind.....wild animals + man=bad......plus the bear who killed them had been contained and it was pissed at any humans......so why did Tim try to bond with the bear? i do not know....he said he would pay the consequences..........he was trapted in a cave or something with his girlfriend....there was nothing they could do. They had the tape of them suffering, some have heard it...but i was getting pissed off at the people who kept asking why they didn't put the screaming part in the movie...i thought it would be rude...too personal.......but whatever...cool film though.....

deltarider500----same
I saw some of the Discovery doc, but only for a few minutes. The guy seemed to have a few problems......petting the 'poo' and stuff....he also didn't seem like the guy to get a gf. Maybe I need to see more of it? Kudos though for living your dream......if only I werent' stuck here.

Give some support to James in 'god bless' he needs it.

alaskan natives have co-existed with bears since the begining of time, they have mutual understanding. Some NUMBNUTS comes along and trys to hug and play monopoly with the bears and they eventually hate him. He had no respect for nature or the bears, he thought they belonged to him. I hope the bear died happier than that jacka$$.

if you didnt watch the discovery channel thing you should. He was just truly dedicated and found his calling you could say. To live 15? summers with them without any protection, he knew what he was doing. The bear that killed him was old and mean and was desperate for food. So its not like one of the "friendly" bears killed him. I thought it was real cool how the foxes hung around him and played with him like they did.

libertytatz so you think he deserved to get eaten alive???If you watched the discovery channel show the coroner was on there and explained how he thinks things happened. I seriously came close to throwin up, just the picture i had in my mind was awful. They didnt deserve to die like they did.

Slyder, Raven, deltarider500, i completely agree with you guys.
