How do land on your board when doing a running dock?

EVery time I've tried I land......then the boat pulls me over the board.

Plus...............what trick do girls REALLY like?

they like raleys. go wakeboard. and lean back.

Start back a couple feet from where your going to jump. Once the boat starts idleing get tension then tell them to give it gas, run keeping tension on the line. Keep your elbow bent in to your side and keep the board out in front of you.. jump of the dock place the board under your feet and just lean back a lil when you land... its all timing.

sorry----i dont know what roofies are. I'm only at my dads house in MI during the summer and the town he lives in raise girls like heffers.

really i dont give a shizzle if a girl likes wakeskating or not, its more technique and we fall alot more, and it takes time, i like it when i just take some chicka's on the boat with my bro's and they never seen wakeskating before and their like wow, like how does the board stay on your feet your so bad ass, i like wakeskaters better than wakeboarders,

trick is to get them to call them strappers then you got them in

mr. Blond, you can practice off of some high......3 feet......and land on something soft......but it is basically what jesse said......hold the deck with you back hand and let the tension pick up and start running........when in mid air jump on your board with your back foot on back and you front foot about 3/4 of the way to the top......keep your wait back and you got a dock start..

I had that problem look at the horison after you place the board under you. see if that helps

Try running off the dock without the boat and learn landing on it; run with your front arm out as if you were holding the handle and just concentrate on landing it. Also, to make sure I have better footing, I hold the board a little more toward the tail than in the middle so I end up further back on the board. This should stop you from going over the front.

Your not running the same speed as the boat.

It could be the boat driver also.

Hey what kind of variations have you guys added to the ol dockstart. I almost had the fingerflip last season, I was thinking of trying a finger shuv fs, switch hands and the 180 would be a nice touch. Any other ideas?

I like that trick where you just set your board down and stand on it on the dock and let the boat just slide you off. I haven't done one of those in a few years...

Extra points if you have fins.

are u tryin to jump off with your front or back foot? because if ur tryin with your back foot that might b the problem, but i try landing at like a 45degree angle it just feels more comfprtable to me, and i think it helps with the surface area over the water or something like that
