start with 70ft, 21 mph, and no ballast. like tahoe integ said it's all about preference so go ride with it and adjust those settings as you feel the need to. _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

First of all, don't go out expecting to be going w2w, popping big ollies, or doing any shuvits on your first time (if it is your first time out). If you do you'll probably be disappointed and not want to do it anymore. Trust me, it happened to two of my friends who wanted to try it.
As for all that other stuff:
1) Just go at the stadard rope length at first until you find out what kind of rider you want to be, a more skate style rider or w2w rider. I'm more into skate stuff so I have a shorter rope, just my preference.
2)I would start out at around 18-20 until you get used to it, then see if you want to speed up any. Also, when learning new stuff, I find it easier to learn if you slow down just a little bit (except for ollies and w2w)
3) I didn't put any ballast in my boat. You don't need ballast unless you want to get a bigger wake for w2ws and stuff, which you should worry about yet.
Oh, and for help on your ollies, look at the trick tips on the main page for the ollie video from Snap, that helped me a lot. _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |
