I am a newbie to the site and all so trash me for asking but i am looking for a new tow device that i can use for pulling as well as use for snowboarding as well so i am looking for something thats well built and by the looks of the unit on the website, it looks very well built for the price, but i only read where one guy has one on here.. Didnt know if anyone else has been pulled by one yet.. |

skydawg, my opinion may be bias cause i ride for em but ill tell u it anyways,
the grinch we used at the brodeo worked great, no let downs as far as the engine went, also pulled at a great speed. getting up with that one was a lil tricky the first couple of times but it was still good.
our final production one is the same motor, but a different clutch setup. it now seriously pulls anyone up like a boat would, prob a lil faster depending on wat boat and how much weight but u get my drift. its the only clutch setup like it on the market right now.
also we are planing a winch trip this spring/summer and if u send pictures of good spots and the location we will make our best effort to stop by. pictures and info can be sent to adam@distortionboarding.com
also pictures are on our sit in the products section @ distortionboarding.com |

integrity640, we are still thinking. like we maqy try and road trip for spots that we can make it to easily and then maybe fly to one and do a few around their, it depends on what people can find and wat we can do. |

I got a pull from the Grinch today on her maiden voyage, and it was so cool. I was so far away on the start that I couldn't hear them at the winch. It took some time to get going being so far away, but it was so gentle pulling me up. Once the slack was out as I was up and riding straight felt heavenly. I snuck in a shuv, varial, and a 180 over a cooler. It seemed harder to do tricks than on a boat, although through more practice on the operator side of things I could see it getting smoother on each venture. We added an extension on the brake(like a bike handlebar), the throttle you use your finger and throttle up, this seems to be the tricky part. Practice make perfect, after some practice and getting to know this neoteric device I see know signs of having nothing but hours of laughter and fun. I'll pull anybody on here who wants to come ride some and have some fun. It is bigger and heavier than I thought; but it still fits snug in the back of my xterra which now smells of gasoline. It cost .95 to fill up . I highly recommend it. _________________ dbanana wrote:
