| Spiffy mold. I pressed both my boards for about two weeks. My mold was a lot simpler though.

| that glue is not the best. you should use a polyurethane glue if you can. its at home depot.

Crossing the grains is good advice, whoever told you that gave you stand up advice. That Titebond glue is basically regular wood glue, you should definately use something Polyurethane. When sealing your deck give it like 2-3 coats, lightly sand between each one. That press looks killer by the way.

Brandon and I finish each other's sentences. He is totally correct! When it comes to wood decks, if you can find the right glue, you are set. Keep in mind that wakeskates are not skateboards (obviously).
Moreover, you need to find the right amount of force for your press. If you press it too hard, all your glue will squeeze out, and your plys won't stick etc.....
I would say, try your glue and see how it holds up, but you should try to find something that is going to hold up in all type of water.

the press looks solid...my only suggestion would be to give it a 3-stage for the rocker...looks continuous from your pics

as long as the glue can securely hold the plys together your fine. but then your gona need to put a few coats of a polyurethane waterproof sealant of some type to keep the plys and glue waterproof

classik5onit, ......and thats what makes a crappy skate. As soon as the water gets through the polyurethane the skate is useless.

Thats why a Polyurethane based glue is so handy.

deltarider500, Since it's not a wood skate, or made of any water absorbant material, rather than use any kind of coating, they are just made with base materials. We use Durasurf and PBT bases on our wakeskates. www.integrity-wake.com for more info.
