any news on the new lemons integrity? i hear so much rumor about nicks model and am curious about ryans.

did anyone else think the vid nick put up a while ago with dispatch was better edited and better all around than the such is life part. i liked botha lot and nick and ryan made that vid great but i thought the black and white and song and the way it seemed slower wasnt as good as the the movie nick posted.

JamesBoardr - Agreed. I liked the Such if Life Integrity section, but it didn't flow with the rest of the movie. Nick Taylor's video on here is better than most sections on wakeskate videos out there in your local shop.

Erich edited that section (in such is life). The style of that section reminded me of the attitude and badass-ness (pardon the expression) of decline. I really liked ryan's front lip to popped and caught backside bigs out. And then end was kind of synched up with the heavy hits in the song, and then ended with an assload of hammers. It was pretty sweet.

But you're right, it really didn't mesh with the rest of such is life. Again, I'd say part of that is due to two different editing styles. Like, even with ron's editing, I'd say it's evolved quite a bit, as he wasn't always so artsy...he was more about solid riding with some lifestyle stuff, minus the kookiness of 12 honkeys (and I've never liked that vid, sorry)...oh, and I suppose you could say switch and switch 22 were experimental in that regard.

Anyway, just the quality of the film, the shots, and the feeling created from that AND the music (I always get the chills when I watch danny's first section, and then the second section is kind of edited like a nightmare or a crazy dream (IMO)) is just nutty.

Kyle Conrad edited the Integrity section... Not me.

I was going to but my hard drive crashed and all my footage and editing was lost so Kyle took it over last minute so it could make it into the film.

And yes we didn't want it to mesh with the film or music flow...
I feel it came out nicely for the amount of time and effort Kyle put into it.

I see, I see. You had said that you were going to edit it. And I agree, kyle did do a nice job with the section.

the part was awesome. im just not as hardcore as the integ crew (probably never will be). nick and ryan throw down riding that blew everyones away in most aspects so the editing and song probably wouldnt have made much impact either way. i just like the more flowing editing with the riding. but i must say. for the song, the editing fit perfect and everything landed on a beat and it kicked arse in that view.

and..electricsnow, danny's first part it completely chilling. it was really beautiful and made a perfect ending.

The Integrity section is the one section that sticks out in that video not for the riding but for the grittyness of the edit, its completelydifferent to that of the rest of the video and makes you remember it. you'll either love it or hate it.
