signs to stop wakeskating?

I haven't skated since Labor Day due to my jet ski's stator going bad. So I get my dads hunting boat and take a friend that's in from San Antoinio(I learned to skate with this guy). I just bought a new mini DV camera Friday and am anxiously awaiting to get some footage.

We go to the lake, get in the lake(keep in mind it's 70 degrees outside, wasn't extremely cold but not warm.) and I start off. I get riding for 7 minutes and hit two shuv's perfectly. I fall trying a ollie 180. Get back up and start going again.

Then it happens....

The motor just dies like it ran out of gas. I try for 15 minutes to see what's wrong, it's got oil and gas. It won't start back up. We're 400 yards from the bank. Well time to go home I say to myself. I get the troller motor and start making my way to the bank while on the phone cursing at everything, even the fvcking cranes.

We get to the bank(still 200 yards from the ramp) and the troller motor stops working. Now I'm pissed. We were in knee deep water and had to push the boat two football fields in length to the boat ramp to go home.

Keep in mind this lake is horrible in filth. Weeds everywhere, the bottom of the lake has 3 feet of boggy ass mud. Finally get back and go home, another trip wasted.

The last time I went out there my jet ski didn't even start due to the stator. I was more pissed off at the fact that I got to skate for 10 minutes then it died. I'd rather not even touch the water, it's like a girl with double d's teasing you.

I would have rather slammed my nuts in a microwave because that trip was gayer than a football bat.

Omen to stop skating?

all you guys that have friends that love skating, enjoy it. you could be like me and one of the few that like to do this, it's hard as hell finding a pull.

come on man it looks to me like a sign of u never having anything going wrong in your life. signs of a spoiled kid who had everything layed out for him so he wouldn't have to walk in the "filthy" lake or have a tantrum. jet ski isnt flowing so fix it bra/get it fixed. also this whole incident with ur fishing boat is a part of life. things go bad sometimes. and a trolling motor is only meant for trollin not racing back to the shore. all i can say is don't take it out on wakeskating. Chillax.

me and my boy kev take his sea doo out. two out of the last three times out i ran the damn rope over. first day ruined my 90$ rope, cutting it out of the impeller. second day sucked up my other friends rope, before kev-o even got to ride behind his own shizzle. took everything apart and saved that rope. next day went smooth, fun as hell, kev learned b/s to front 270 shuv off. moral is: sun even shines on a dogs ass some days. those shiznackle days only make you want it more.

i'm not quitting, it seemed right to question it.
the jet ski would be fixed but the stator hasn't shipped yet.

and a little FYI for you, bigpimpinalberta, i'm 20 years old with my own house, vehicle, etc. i'm not some kid. when do i get my man card?

huh? the stator has only gone out once. i just haven't received the part yet.

google it. it's a piece with a bunch of coils that goes in the front end of my 1050 polaris.

it's NOT a starter.

urinal mint, about a year ago we put my buddys boat in the water early season for us sooooo around march. The water was prob. 40-50 degrees and the air 60-70 degrees, so we were gonna wear dry suits. Throw the boat in and the boat didnt start. We start floating down river trying to start it. Never did so we had to walk it up river prob. two hundred feet! it fvcking sux! feel your pain!

yeah that does suck but not as much as my troubles with the cops this weekend. friday at anna maria island we got pulled over twice, got a life jacket ticket and a no boater id card ticket. then we go to our secret gap spot and get yelled at and threatened to have the cops called on us(keep in mind that its private property in a VERY expensive golf course/club). 20 minutes later the cops come haulin ass up to us down river from where the gap was and issue me a reckless operation ticket and issues each of us a trespass warning, and threatened to confiscate our videocameras. anyways after all they the next day they came and scoped out our pool gap and was waiting for us to be blastin through the no wake zone but they left and we rode with no troubles. oh and the most obvious sign to stop wakeskating would be in front of my house saying "no wake: idle speed only" and its definately not going to stop us...
so just say f it and ride sofar
