my bro tried to put a couple coats of lacker on his board and it was good for a bit but within a week it started to peel and in two it was gone again so if you want go for it but it might be worthless _________________ RIDE SoFaR... |

polyurathane (sp) and don't spray it on, use a really good quality brush. sand it w/ a high grit sandpaper between coats... it should not peel, water doesn't really effect poly, sun does.... that and i guess rails
btw, there are a lot of different varieties of poly so you need to talk w/ either someone on this board about which is best or the folks at your local hardware store....
i'm going to put a coat on my 4 trac soon- |

you get a thicker coat with a brush, but spraying works good as well.
The key is sanding. _________________

I say boat varnish and sanding in between layers! Just my two cents, if you could ever trust a chick... _________________ 01/20/2009. Niko-chan! |

you can use spray poly, just be sure to get a few extra layers on it. |
