Hokay, so I went into Futureshop (the Canadian equivalent of Best Buy) today to return my Creative Zen Mirco because my laptop isn't recognizing it when I connect it via usb, and after about 30 minutes of waiting for some chika to sort through my receipt only to tell me they can't send it out to get fixed I am told I can either take the money or check out their other mp3 players(yes!).
So I take a stroll over to check out what they've got and low and behold The iPod Nano is in the front display area. I just saw the commercial the other day so I didn't expect them to already have it, so I go check it out and I fell in love with the thing. The size is perfect, not too small that i'll lose it but it'll fit unnoticably in my pocket.
Oh and did I mention it's got a color display and can store photos. So i've pretty much decided i'm gonna get it so I get to the return desk and i'm informed that the price works out to straight across from my Creatize (double yes!!). All in all, I love the size of this player, and all it's features. If you are in the market check out the iPod Nano!
shane out. |

Don't want to rain on your parade but I've heard somethings about it. Apparently the screen cracks and other stuff like that so just to let you know. Be careful about the screen. |

I have an old 10 gig without the click wheel and its been running strong for 2 years now. I have about 2000 songs on it and the battery still works fine and everything.
And, I just ordered a black 4gig nano for my dad for his birthday. Im excited to see what it looks like in person. |

There have been a lot of complaints about the screens on those. But if it works for what you need it for, then good. I got a nano for my birthday but since i already had a mini that could hold 3 times as much (i realize the nanos come in 2 and 4 gig, but i was given the 2 gig one.) i sold it and bought a bike. Anyway, I've also been hearing rumors circulating that they will be comming up with a new 8gig and 10gig version of ipods (maybe something nano sized, or a new mini) sometime around january (maybe earlier to hit the holiday season).
hammer49, My mini doesn't freeze, but sometimes it shuts down randomly, i've abused it though.
Greg T, Good choice on the black, they look so good. |

i just got a 20 gig, and its awsome, the nano is way to small and seems very breakable, and only holds 3k songs kinda... gay... the screen is really small 2 in the nanon... you could like drop it like outa your pocket and u would never know cuz it weights nothing.. |

ive got the 20 gig. its awesome and i know ill never be able to fill it up (im just now getting to 4 gigs). i hook it up to my tower speakers and system in my boat and it pumps music for hours. i was amazing at the size of the 20 gig ipods. they seem perfectly sized to me. i would rather have something that actually fits in your hand instead of something you have to use tweezers to pick up. |

i've got the 4 gig freePod Mini (internet survey) . and it is most definately small enough. I never notice it when i'm skating, and i HATE things in my pocket as i skate. So it's good enough for me. _________________ - Evan Molina |

My mini is fine... great battery life, I've got about 12 gigs of music that I listen to, so I just swap playlists whenever I feel like. |

ive got a generation 4 20gig ipod, and i have like 700 songs on it....id like to trade it in for the 4 gig nano...but i doubt it would happen...i dont run, or skateboard with my ipod, so im not worried it will break..i probably have more of a chance in selling it for 200 bucks |
