Iv'e heard that he is a sick wakeskater but why isnt he in any vids? Is he good?

He is Trevor Hansens brother, and a CWB rider I believe. The Hansens own World Wakeboard Center, so Reed rides alot. He podiumed somewhere this year on Tour, but off the top of my head I don't remember where. I don't have any vid of him, but also heard that he kills it. I think he also rides in the Jr Men strapping division.

reed shreds. i believe he is the only person that has landed a w2w varial. (if someone else has, i dont believe it brings the difficulty down).

Heard he landed like 4 different flips in a row. Also heard a rumor that his father (Andy Hansen) forces him to wakeboard at least once a day before he can go out and wakeskate. Haven't seen him ride but apparently he's really good. Young upcoming ripper...

ok he has b/s flips down, he has v-flips down. he tears it up from what everyone has told me. also he is supposedly doing back big flips likes its cake. just look out for this kid.

He is a ripper. He is a JR mens guy, I think he finished 3rd over all on the tour with his straps on, he was on the podium in Portland for wakeskating. He is pretty cool kid to I got to know him when I was driving for wakeskate in Kelowna and Portland, he told me he would give up wakeboarding anyday for wakeskating. He was also one of the only guys besides Mcgukin throwing kickflips during the middle of his run and landing them, instead of waiting till the end of his run. He rides for CWB but rode a liquid force in wakeskate, said he wants to ride for cassete next year for wakeskateing.

I've heard some jacked up things about Andy Hanson (Reeds dad). I went to The Wakeboard Camp last year and was talking to P.J. Marks.....Does anyone remember that ad for Session boats with Trevor Hansen that looks like they staged it on the rail, well they did and it was all Andy's work. He's the reason why Trevor has jumped from sponsor to sponsor so much, because they get sick of dealing with his dad. I totally believe that Reed's dad makes him wakeboard before he wakeskates everyday, why? Because Reed can make more money being a Pro strapper than a pro skater.....its so messed up. I really hope he is skating in a video soon because from the sounds of it he rips.

O yeah! Well I heard he's in this film from HYPOXIC FILMS due out Oct. 1st and he does five different tricks that have never been in a video before

Probably just a rumor though.

damn! now i see how rumors get started! haha. Reed's a really good friend of mine. he seriously calls me every night and tells me how his wakeskating for the day went and then i have to go vomit and tell myself not to quit haha jk. but i met reed a few years ago when i went to camp at WWC for wakeboarding. just about a year ago he started wakeskating and he has all the resources to be the best wakeskater in the world: unlimited gas at his parent's camp, jetski, boat, private lake, free boards, always someone to pull him, and plus he's homeschooled so he can ride as much as he wants and i can say for sure that he probably rides more than anyone else alive, which is how he got so good. He did podium at Portland - for wakeboarding, not wakeskating, though. He's not in any vids yet because he's still pretty new to wakeskating and people are just realizing how good he is. However, i know for sure he has two wakeskate parts coming out in Silly by Hypoxic films and he'll for sure have some tricks for Alla Prima, maybe even a full part. As for what he's pulling, i don't want to give stuff away about Alla Prima cuz that would be mean to Thomas, but i think one day i counted and he had like 8 different flip tricks and when you put together all the variations of how he can do them all (HS, TS, flats, inside out, reentry etc.) it was like 18. YEAH. the thing is..he can learn a trick and then basically do it every try after that. it's the weirdest thing. he'll learn a trick and then do it in his pro tour run the weekend after! all that riding equals to consistency. I've HEARD (from Reed) that he landed a w2w varial flip ONCE. i guess a photographer came out like a week later but Reed couldn't stick it again. And he's only done one w2w kickflip, too. He's more about flip tricks than w2w. I don't think he's landed a kickflip in a contest yet, besides the WWC contest. I don't believe he's done one in any pro tour event though. Normally he tries varial flips instead, cuz he's better at those. As for his actual trick list, again i don't want to give too much away, but yes he can 360 flip every set and i have one on film, along with a TS i/o varial flip and a flats frontside flip. He can backside flip in the flats and he does them well. And backside bigflips like CAKE? chad, no one backside bigflips like cake. sorry. Just wait for Silly and AP and all will be known... He rides for Cassette (basically official team member), No Fear, and CWB. and i know he's gotten some shoes from DVS. 4 flip tricks in a row? last time i was at groveland riding with him he did flats sex change to flats frontside flip to flats backside flip to flats varial flip. so there is basically all you need to know about Reed Hansen. be patient and you'll see it all with your own eyes... sorry for the long post but i hate when it's all rumors and "i heard" nonsense.
