Has anybody ever used a kite to wakeskate? It seems like it would be a killer way to avoid buying gas and you could even cruise in the waves.
This magazine is free and has some cool pics, the potential looks huge.

I just started kiteboarding, and the first time I tried it I went out with my Integrity to show these strappers what it's about!!
It worked out allright, but my kiteboarding skills where kinda limiting hehe... Oh and having a leash on a wakeskate is NOT a good idea. Got hit 2 times in the rib, one time in the head and that's when I decided that it was not such a good idea haha
When I get to control my kite better I'll give it another go without a leash!! gnar!!
edit: and yes all of my pro kiteboarding friends have wakeskates... But they are weird large and thick one... Kind of a catalyst that eats too much McDonald's. They usualy cruise around on them and do some weird shovs haha _________________

| I've seen a photo sequence in a Kiteboarding mag of a guy doing an shuv to indy over a kicker ramp. It was actually pretty sick looking. |
