OK, i know nothing about these things but I figured someone here has to..soo this is a Jon Boat i am looking at its a 2000 Landau 12 foot model 1244 and i was wondering if i could put a motor on this beast, with enough horses to pull a skater...

You can pack it full of styrofoam and anchor it upside down to make a gnar rail.

I tried it with like a 10ft jon boat with a 9.9hp motor and it didnt work. But i've heard and I bet a 15hp motor will do it.

you dont even have to pack those with styrofoam to hit it they float great by thereselves when flipped over. A 15hp will probly work but just be careful not to cut to hard behind that thing cuz u might sink it

I'm too nervous about putting $400 into it for the boat, then getting a motor, then the chance that I'll sink the sucker haha
