| Someone explain how to me. I'm gonna be able to try them today but my only plan is to pop a 3 shuv and then just yank my body with the handle. Should I do that or kind of do a little backside rotation popping off of the water to get my spin going easier? I have no idea. Thanks in advance. |

well. uh with my experience skateboarding, i would say do some b/s rotating on the pop to help with the spin, but i don't know about on a wakeskate. _________________ - Evan Molina |

| i think this would be one of the most differently done tricks. cause somepeople do more of a bs 180 and add another shuv which looks the best in my opinion cause its more even and then a bunch of people do the 3 shuv and spin there body at the end. i cant do them but i would work on bs 180's all day and i would bet that would help the landing. maybe even work on landing bs 180's blind without the handle pass if you think you might want to do teh bigspin without it at first |

| I can do backside 180's, not really popped too well, but i can land blind ok. My three shuvs aren't perfect yet. I should probably work on the 3 shuvs first eh? I can do em, just not too consistantly. |

yeah no need to have the 3 shuvs down to try out the bsbig
it's a whole different trick anyway.
It's just gone up in my todo list cause I never tought of doing them the bs180 then shuv way, and picturing it like a 3shuv then a bv felt weird and that's how I tried it, and it felt weird lol. And having the board rotation going along with your body rotation is styler ^^
thanks JamesBoardr _________________

no when you do frontside bigs do a 360 fs shuv and then a a body variel or do you start the rotationg all at once. ITS NOT A 360 SHUV WITH A B-S BODY VARIEL!!!!!! ITS A B-S BIGSPIN!!!!!!

BS shuv, catch, bs 180
technically the board is rotating 360 degrees, but it's not a 3 shuv with a body varial

always pass the handle. it helps with the landing plus it looks ten times better.
once you get the balance of staying over it and keeping the board with you, the main issue is the landing, cause its easy to slip out on your switch heels when you do it. so to help with the landing, some good tips would be to:
1. lead with your hips before you even pop it
2. look for your landing with your head then look out once you land to get your hips behind you
3. (after passing the handle) push it back behind you to get over your toes
its a lot to think about, but its kind of a 'feel' trick. just keep those things in mind and youll start to do them more naturally without having to put so much thought into it every time, hopefully.
your situation could be different, but that helped me. |

Wakeskate941, J Scotts back bigs are very stylish, but you can't beat Reed catching it 2 ft high, passing the handle, then stomping it down in your moms face and saying WHAT?!?!?!?!? _________________ √ |
