depends on your speed/wake, now that's a very helpfull reply Very Happy

seriously tho, it really only depends on that, and of course how you like to hit up the wake, with speed or not...

i ride 75 but i used to wakeboard at 80/85 so thats probably a little long. i just dont like landing in the flats as much on the skate. 70' sometimes for tricks im learning. dont make your length to short though, because theres a lot of technique you might miss out from not learning a good progressive cut.

I'm just started to do w2w's and I ride at 65' going about 21. I haven't made it yet I keep landed on top of the wake but i think today im going to make it. Yesterday we shortened the rope to about 50' and slowed the boat down just to get the feeling of jumping the wake on a wakeskate and i was making it everytime so now that i have the feeling i think im finally going to be able to do it.

just get ur boat up to speed and throw a line out to the best part of the wake. Different boats have different wakes.

ATXwakesk8r, 80 feet really isnt that long. plus i ride behind my 210 at 23/23.5. today i was practicing some of my w2w tricks and for some reason i can barely ride away when i land in the flats. thats mainly why i ride far back. i can do the aaron reed thing and land in the flats that well. have to have the downslope. just my view on it
