What is a good bag to get these days? I have an old cassette bag that didnt last 10 months, this one:
The zippers are all torn off and broken. it still does the job but i want a new one. It would be cool if it could also carry a vest. It would also be nice if there was a mesh compartment like my old bag had so that my shoes dont stink up a funk. _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

yeah kento said he's going to make some. I have the same bag as you and its lasted perfectly since the beginning of last season. i know hyperlite makes a bag but it doesn't have the components you are looking for. |

yeah I am expecting my patches to be done sometime between this friday and next friday, and I have a hype Catalyst bag. . my gripe with it(and my inspiration for making my own) was that its un-padded, and too big, not to mention not very durable, I wish I could give you more info on mine but at this point Im waiting for patches and then I will be sending those to the bag mfg. at which point I should have an estimate for when they will be done and I may possibly take pre orders. . btw I have added drainage to the pockets as well
here is the topic with the pictures of the prototype bags

I got that cassette bag and it lasted for more than a year already...
If your riding salt water just make sure all your gear is well rinsed before puting it back in the bag. You can also rinse the bag zips from time to time.
Also, just use it to carry stuff, don't let em rott over night in the bag hehe, but that's just common sense haha
On the bags u making is the side pocket big enough for shoes, rope and vest?
That's what would work best... Inner paded for the board that is like half dry at the worse when u put it in, so no need for major drainage. And then an outside pocket that fits shoes, rope and handle. With lots of draining, and also some fabric at the base to make sure it doesn't soak the whole bag... just my 2cents haha _________________

the pocket can hold shoes rope handle and a beach towell. . the bag was made so the vest goes in the main compartment with the skate thats why the extra drainage. . also the padding is closed cell I believe so it shoudlnt soak up anything _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself |

The Ten-80 bag is big enough for two skates it has a water proof pocket for your shoes with draine holes, and another larger water proof pocket pocket big enough to hold a vest and rope, or anything else you could thing of like a towel. change of clothes, anything.... plus it can be used as a back pack or a bag, and you can hide the straps when your not using them. it lasts very long too...... had mine for 1 1/2 now. |
