homemade wakeskate

Just made a homemade wakeskate. I'm in the process of finishing it up. All i have left to do is put some sealant on it and grip. So far i think it looks pretty good. I decided to stain it instead of painting it. I'll get some pictures up soon. I have only 3 questions, it doesn't have fins. so should i go with soms fins? how cocave should i make it? and does anybody know were i can get some saweet grip in B'ham??

huh? just go to your skate shop man....jessup works good and like black magic.....that part isn't a big deal and what do you mean "how concave" just go look at a skate u like and try to mimic that

ParksGettys, how bout you LEAVE TOWN. before a skateshop was set up here, i had to go 30 minutes away to the nearest skateshop.

that why i said "know were i can get some saweet grip in B'ham??" Which is birmingham by the way. I live on lake marting wich is like an hour away, and i don't know any shops in birmingham. so i just wanted to know were to find a shop.

i got marine epoxy at the local marina. they use it to seal up boats. so it sealed my skate pretty easy. griptape can be bought online or at any skateshop.

My dad is rebuilding a boat and he had ordered some kind of epoxy that actually soaks into the wood, it helps to prevent rotting and suppose to be a good sealant. So i used that, probably the same thing your talkin about. tomorrow afternoon i WILL have pics for you guys.
