Luck with new batch bi-levels

Is anyone with a New batch Bi-Level having any delam issues or concerns. My 1st batch Bi just broke and I am debating on weather or not reseal my entire new deck on arrival. I've ridden pretty much every board option possible for me and find the Bi to me my fave. My other option is to sell the Bi and ride my second favorite board that won;t have these problems.

2006 decks are primo. Aaron reed has been riding a proto top sheet that's six weeks old and it seriously looks brand new. It's not delaming, the seal is not coming off...it's cool.

s34n, Dont worry about it, the problems is you guys ask too many questions when people post some facts that should be kept on the low.. 06 Cassettes are looking hottttt, look for them at surf expo.. I saw Reed's deck its sick, cassette is soon gonna be on top..

The prototype may be holding up great, but will all the decks end up being made with that quality next year? That is the question.

The problem I'm having with next years decks being better is consumers like me getting screwed over with the 05' decks. I've yet to recieve a new one and the new batch is comming out which is supposedly much better, so now I'm down a riding season and I won't be able to afford a new board when they come out.

Slyder, Thats why there are other options for your next deck and some might even say a better one that wont ever have any of these problems in the first place.

I wish Thomas the best of luck... but i think hes going to see alot of people like Slyder, saying the same things...

kento911, I agree. Before new product comes out, everyone is hyping their fav. companies saying their stuff is just going to blow you away and that they have connections but can't say anything but you just have to trust them it is going to be sweet. Blah blah blah.

THEN, every year nothing mind blowing really comes out. Or at least nothing can actually live up to all the hype it gets. I've grown to except it and and not get my hopes up.

Hopefully, one day, some company will blow my mind. I am waiting.

reed was in wisconsin visiting his family this week so I drove up to meet him. I saw the deck in person, it's ill, that's all I have to say. I dont' even have to "hype my favorite company" on this one...

And greg, they have a few proto top decks that are spread out around the world and they've been lasting. I guess reed is the guy that seriously breaks decks, and if it's lasting six weeks (so far, without any signs of breaking down), things are well. But you're right, a proto and a final product are two different things. Personally, I believe but I can see how others couldn't.

also, when were the bi-levels made in taiwan? The last I had heard, they were pressed by paul schmidtt and they had made in the usa and a very special serial number embossed/burned into the wood.

As for the future, you really have no idea how far ahead some of these riders are, as far as what they're going to pursue and just their outlook on and responsibility to wakeskating. I mean, I thought I knew a fair bit and had a pretty good mindset, but it's clear to me that aaron reed (and others, I'm sure) are about five steps ahead of the game. I was seriously enlightened, which doesn't happen often.

YOu know, it is funny how companies will come out with this new technology that is still years ahead of what people are doing...like there are lots of noseslides and such out there, no?? Sorry if that's sassy, but it's true.

kento, don't you think you have try something in order to find out if you like it or not? I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding where you're coming from, but do you think everyone is going to understand how a progressive five stage rocker rides, just by looking at it? chickity china the chinese chicken yeah it takes a ride to believe...
