You do see what his face landed on right? If you watch the curb closely, there's a pad or something covering the curb where his face hits. Soooo it's fake.

Still... that is one of the most heinous displays of stupidity I've seen in a while... American History X is one of those movies that is supposed to make you aware, not want to go try and recreate one of the worst scenes in the movie. There isn't a word that does justice to how stupid those kids are...

His face smashed into some florecent(spelling?) lights. Those things leave imediate swelling and welts(they explode when cracked). Me and my friends would sneek up on each other and bust em on each others backs.
