Hey i'm getting ready to grip the wakeboard I cut into a skate and i've got a question. The top surface of the board has a few grooves on each side running down the length of the board and i'm not sure if the grip is going to stay in the grooves after I grip it.

Should I lay the sheet over the board and work it in best I can everywhere then cut a strip down the length of the board off where it dips down into the grooves? The image is looking down the length of the board from the front.

Oh and just incase you're curious, yes my ms paint skills are illegal in like 9 different countries.

Thanks

the sheet thing would work...or if the grooves aren't to much you can just cut the grip tape around the grooves for a special grip pattern.
