Yes. I've actually been skating more street type stuff so I can pretend I'm wakeskating. Don't get me wrong though, I'm a tranny hesher most of the time http://www.wakeskating.com/media/showphoto.php?photo=1252&sort=1&cat=511&page=1

I was just wondering. I skated for about 20yrs, but have not in a long time. I felt wakeskating was a great way for me to get that feeling without the broken bones, road rash and twisted ankles...LOL. Very Happy

i've never skateboarded in my life, always wanted to but just didn't. i've got up on a wakeboard for about 15 minutes and that's all. i went into wakeskating without any experience so it's definately a new feeling to me but i'm adapting pretty well. when i take interest in hobbies, i try to learn everything about it.

Spinwax My feeling's exactly. When you get to a certain age concrete is just too hard and bones break alot easier.

But a skating background def helps with wakeskating.I like the surfing crossover better though Laughing

In my opinion a skateboarding background definatly helps with style.

I have a skateboarding background. It's not extensive enough to help me all that much in the style department however.
