wakeskating doesn't require massive wake. wakeboarding is all about wake to wake jumps.
WAKESKATING all the way, period. |

if you do have problems, start from a dock and/or use a shorter rope

dude if youve never done any water sport before you may want to start off wakeboarding first to get the feel of it, like turing edging and getting up first and then switch to wakeskating _________________ "If I gave a crap you be the first person I'd give it to" -Unknown |

Ditto, , you can do shuvs and ollies and other stuff like that and you don't have to get air on a wakeskate to have fun. With a wakeboard it is boring unless yer getting massive air. I had major issues getting up on a wakeskate behind a 140hp boat and I wakeboarded alot last summer. If you can't deep water start, just dock start until you find a bigger boat. And if your boat is just unable to pull you, buy a wakeskate anyways and go ditchskating behind a car or four wheeler. That is what i had to do for a couple of weeks and it was good. _________________

| Yeah you'll feel right at home on a wakeskate then. A lot of your skating ability will come over to wakeskating. |

Ya man, it hurts like a beach if you don't ride shoes, even with foam. Cuz i tried doin a shuv without shoes and it came around and smacked my big toe and ripped the nail upwards. (this was in the goop pond wear you loose your shoes if you step in the water) _________________
