I beg to differ with you on that snowboard analogy.

Burton recently purchased Four Star dist. consisting of Forum, foursquare, Special Blend, & Jeenyus. Can you say Kent Monopoly, no wait Burton monopoly.

Every pro rider has left Rossi, because they are money hungry corporate ski company, not a rider owned co.

You dont know much about the snowboard industry then because burton has the most innovative products with their new bindings plus they have some of the best progressive riders in the industry. Plus Rossignol also has some of the top riders especially thee top rider Travis Rice. How often do you snowboard and how much do you really know about the snowboard industry. And who left and plus Burton saved those companies cuz they were going bankrupty and Burton pumped money into them and go the companies to be sold in big stores.

You make me laugh...I ride about 70 days a year. I used to run manage a snowboard shop. I repped for a binding company, do the USASA contests where I qualified for nationals the last 4 years with the exception of last year because I broke my ankle and I get flowed product from numerous companies.

But I dont know shizzle. Laughing

Because it is true about Burton trying to take over the industry and monopolize everything and why did all those guys leave rossi.

G-squadriderz, here's a helpful tip: dont call out grouch on anything wakeboarding/wakeskating/snowboarding related. he knows more than you. i can almost promise you that.

burton isnt considered rider owned? I dont snowboard so I don't know much, but I atleast thought they were rider owned, just a freaking huge rider owned company.

Burton is definitely not rider owned... I work in a ski shop and have heard all the news of them buying FSQ, SB, Forum, etc. No longer rider owned IMO. And xboard32x, Salomon stuff SUCKS. Really badly. And plus, they are owned by Adidas. Ha, if someone tries to say they are rider owned, SLAP.

yea, i know salomon puts out some huge gimicks. that space frame stuff sucks. their skis are crap and they give their pros better versions than the ones they sell to the public so the public thinks they ride the same skis but they really dont.

s34n, ur right that they are not rider owned but they are rider influence because all the pros have the total control over the pro model products. It would be stupid to allow them to try to run a big company like Burton with all the financial stuff. Thats y u see so many ROC go under or bought out cuz they dont have the degree and the know how to run a company, but have an idea and believe in it. Thats cool and all but doesnt always work.
