OK I can't take it anymore, I hit my first kickflip yesterday. It was off the double up out in the flats. It wasn't big, but the mechanics must of been good because I pulled it off clean as Tide.
Inside outs are coming(bigger) but haven't nailed it yet.
Anyway I thought I'd start a byte for 1st time kickflippers.
P.S. I just got the firewire and the camera on the computer, how do I go about downloading a video to wakeskating.com? _________________ dbanana wrote:

PIRATE, Yo I ride in the creeks, rivers, bays and ocean on Maryland's eastern shore. I live in Ocean City, MD and I ride with a few local cats my friend bcreepy, he doesn't post much here but he loves to ride and he owns a wake shop. My other buddy Ben is starting a wakeskate company, Bent Wakeskates, I will have my own pro model next summer (I'm no pro though). My brothers ride and then there are two brothers that I hooked and are fiends, not as bad as me. That's about it
Maybe seven11 will come ride this season since he is the closest. I wish we all had a chance to ride together but it's hard since you are west side and I east; but if you ever come out here to the eco I'd be happy to give the ol' pirate a pull. _________________ dbanana wrote:

Which roller do you hit when you hit it out in the flats? I usually do the second to last one, but I'm curious about anyone else (but especially Raven)... _________________

seven11dmd, good luck man on the new auto. If you can make it, I got ya. _________________ dbanana wrote:

rollers= after the boat makes a u-turn you ride over your old wake and there are like 8-10 little waves that make for a nice jump. _________________ dbanana wrote:

skatepunk, it's just easier to call it that because whenever you turn around you make a double up with your wakes, but you just happen to be hitting it out in the flats... does that kind of make sense?
You can also hit other boats rollers if you are going into them at a steep enough angle _________________

PIRATE, OK my friend Ben lost his brother last year, I'm no brother but I love the guy like a brother and we love wakeskating. He is the only one here as passionate about the sport as me. So when we ride we're just goofy happy and we light it up. Out of nowhere last year the visionary(Ben) says, I'm gonna start a wakeskate company. I'm like, yeah right. So this spring I got my Bent Wakeskate T-shirt, hat , and stickers. He talked to a guy that makes skate decks and was going to make wakeskates for Ben. Today he called me and said he needed the specs for my board to turn into the guy by the end of the week. Ben told me he is offering me the only pro-model by Bent Wakekskates. My family has an old school crab business going on here on the eastren shore and he suggested a crab with the english -style P for graphics. I'm still working on my specs; but I want a wood concave symmetical board at 41". He said with any luck I'll have it by christmas or definetly by next summer. To ride my own board, that would be cool!
Orange county? Do I sound that bad. _________________ dbanana wrote:
