| I got a LF impulse wed and today I noticed that the paint was already chipping off the bottom (about a querter size) I sanded it and then took some touch up white paint thats for my jeep (oil based) Then I sanded it again and then put clear finger nail polish on it. Do yall think that will stop the paint from cracking???? |

| Sounds like it would work, but if you can get your hands on some clear marine varnish, that might keep it sealed up a little better than that clear nailpolish. |

I dunno...all I know is that I put 3 coats of it on my homemade skate and it hasn't delamed a bit...and I haven't exactly treated that skate with great care, if you know what I mean.
If you do decide to use marine varnish, make sure you find some clear stuff...the stuff I used on my paint had an orangey yellow tint to it and turned the nice plain white bottom of my skate a lovely banana yellow. |

Shuvit720, Dude, fingernail polish should work. I used it on my veneer wood finger boards and they are still good as new. _________________
