What boat speed, weight setup, and line length are you all using for wake to wake tricks?
i just noticed that grubb's new a-line is 80' long. THat seems huge. Do any of you all know how fast he goes?
i'm riding a 43' concave, 22.5mph, vlx+1500lbs+wedge, and 65' plus handle. |

I ride 65ft (inc handle) byerly skate, 21.5mph, no ballast, SAN right now. I can let it out 5 more feet no problem and bump it up it .5 but I am less comfortable trying new moves.
Grubb goes 24ish, at least he did 2 years ago when he was out here for a demo. |

I ride my broken bi-level 42 at 70' doing around 22 with around 1500lbs of ballast. Grubb's board is around 43" plus being composite it allows him to ride a longer rope at higher speeds...at least that's the way I figuire things. _________________ "If you saw two guys named Hambone and Flippy, which one would you think liked dolphins the most? I think it's all preference. You could ride with a shorter rope and at a lower speed and have as much air time on your w2w than with a long rope and high speed _________________
